Details Work in the hospital's Cath Lab unit, including Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations Monitor procedural sedation and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required, pending license accepted if obtained prior to start Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, RCIS preferred Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required Experience with cardioversion, circulating procedures, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Experience monitoring procedural sedation and administering related medications Ability to perform scrub procedures preferred Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including Swan-Ganz monitoring Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Maximum of 4 days RTO can be auto-approved at time of submission First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position American Traveler Job ID P-775550.
