Details Work in the PACU/Preop unit of a 47-bed acute care facility Primarily adult patient population with ENT cases approximately once a month Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 Uses CQI and Medhost EHR systems Day shift schedule with on-call coverage required on nights and weekends Must be able to report to work within 30 minutes of being called in for a case Shared position with Preop with no expectation to float elsewhere Every other weekend required Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior PACU experience required Preop experience preferred in addition to PACU experience RN degree required Additional Information Provide perianesthesia care for patients undergoing procedures including appendectomy and gallbladder surgeries Scrubs may be any color Open-toed shoes and fake fingernails are not permitted Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment eligibility Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-771085.
