Details Operating Room unit in a hospital setting Day shift, 4x8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM No scheduled weekends Weekend call required, currently 1 in 4 Holiday coverage as needed Floating required as needed 1:1 patient ratio experience required Cerner charting system preferred Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN Inpatient RN travelers must have 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty Previous travel experience required Previous charge experience preferred Experience with cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, and starting peripheral IVs preferred Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, and robotics Candidates must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start, including 100% accuracy on lethal rhythm identification and 80% or higher overall passing score Up to two exam attempts allowed; a third attempt requires submission of a cardiac interpretation review course completion certificate Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted Free onsite parking available References are not required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-770066.
