Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Evanston, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Telemetry. This travel assignment provides overnight nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and related clinical assessment. The 13-week assignment is scheduled to begin 11/08/2026 and requires collaboration across like units as needed.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license; temporary Illinois licenses accepted for candidates actively obtaining a permanent license with confirmation of application submission; minimum of 2 years of stroke or neurological nursing experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; and successful completion of an electrocardiogram (EKG) test.

Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of travel nursing experience.

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, and holiday coverage is required as needed.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: The assignment is 13 weeks, from 11/08/2026 through 02/07/2027. Orientation is scheduled on Mondays, with the electrocardiogram (EKG) test completed on the first day of orientation.
