Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Nurse, Medical Surgical Neurology Floor. This day-shift position provides care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical neurology setting. The role supports safe patient care through neurological monitoring, rapid response team activation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary services.

Job Details Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; pending certifications may be accepted. At least one year of recent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred.

Additional Information: Patient assignment ratio of 1:6. Care provided to adult and geriatric patients. No call responsibilities. Six weekend shifts required within a six-week period.

Responsibilities may include rapid response team activation and coordination with interdisciplinary support services.
