Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift) Location Derby, KS | Freestanding Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting with an average patient ratio of 3:1 (low acuity up to 5:1; pediatrics managed via team nursing model — ratios are estimated) Perform IV starts and medication administration in accordance with unit protocols Assist with sedations and pediatric patient care Scan patients and medications consistently per unit policy on every encounter Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, physicians, midlevel providers, techs, and unit clerks Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system and operate Alaris infusion equipment Required Qualifications Active RN licensure in Kansas or compact state eligibility Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC certifications required CPI Blue Card required Prior travel nursing experience or experience in a large facility emergency department Preferred Experience / Skills ENPC certification Experience with Meditech EMR Prior travel assignments or experience at facilities with more than 52 beds Why Join Us Join a dynamic, energetic emergency department team with a strong emphasis on adaptability, diversity, and a fast-paced care environment Work in a well-staffed unit with modern equipment and a collaborative, experienced multidisciplinary team Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 800909.
