Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) who is available for day shifts. This position requires floating to the Medical-Surgical unit as necessary. The role is based on a schedule of 36 hours per week, specifically from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. Assist in the delivery process, including receiving newborns and addressing maternal health needs. Float to the Medical-Surgical unit when census is low and provide care to patients as required.

Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Conduct fetal heart monitoring and respond to any abnormalities.

Qualifications Must possess AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications. Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required. Proven experience in a delivery room setting. Previous experience in Medical-Surgical nursing is essential.
