This unit features 16 beds with patient ratios typically at 2:1, and occasionally 3:1. Our staffing model includes registered nurses, techs, and unit secretaries based on patient census.

Unit Specifics Number of Beds: 16 Patient Ratios: 2:1, occasionally 3:1 Equipment: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Arctic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours weekly Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing Qualifications Requested Skill Set: Must have: Critical thinking, self-motivated Advanced Skills Needed: Central line insertions, dialysis catheter insertions Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Dress Code Scrubs – any color (no denim, capris, or camo).
