Details Medical/surgical unit on the 4th floor caring for telemetry, pre/post-surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and GI patients 33-bed unit staffed with charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, and a unit secretary Patient ratio of 1:6 Equipment includes bladder scanners, scales, vein finders, lift equipment, IV sonosite, iMobile communication devices, in-room computers, and workstations on wheels Uses Meditech EMR Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM No on-call requirements Required to float throughout the hospital to care for med/surg patients based on need 13-week assignment Requirements Active TX or compact RN license BLS certification required ACLS and CPI/SAMA certifications preferred Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
