Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position providing total patient care in an intensive care setting. The role requires experienced clinical support for critically ill patients, with participation in required float rotation and an overnight schedule.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. every other weekend.

Required Qualifications: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; at least 2 years of experience; demonstrated ability to provide total patient care in an intensive care setting.

Preferred Qualifications: Cardiovascular and thoracic open-heart experience.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: No on-call responsibilities. Patient care assignment ratio is 2:1.
