Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to care for patients in a medical-surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families regarding health concerns and treatments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR).

Position Details: Contracts available for 13 weeks, with potential for extension.

Shifts available: 3x12 or 4x12 nights, including weekends. Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5-7. Blocked schedules may not be guaranteed, but accommodations will be considered. Scrubs are not provided.

Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.

Certifications required: BCLS, NIH, ACLS. Travel nursing experience is not required.

Work Environment: The role is set in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit where teamwork and collaboration are essential for providing the best patient care. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to attending scheduled shifts, as attendance is closely monitored.
