Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry capabilities. This position operates on a night shift schedule with options for either 4x12 or 3x12 hour shifts. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. Monitor patient conditions and administer necessary medications and treatments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR. Adhere to institutional protocols and procedures while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications Active RN license, with verification required. Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience. Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for patient interaction and team collaboration. Work Schedule This position offers flexible scheduling options, with night shifts running from 19:00 to 07:30.

Weekend shifts are also required, typically three weekends in a four-week rotation.

Additional Information The RN will be responsible for a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-7. Scrubs will not be provided. This position does not require prior travel experience.
