Job Details Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg / Acute Care Location: Albany, GA 31701 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800–$1,890 Start Date: September 28, 2026 End Date: January 25, 2027 Assignment Length: 17 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Charting System: MEDITECH Care Setting: Acute care hospital Job Requirements Active RN license required Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required, including at least 1 travel nursing assignment Current BLS certification from AHA required Current NIHSS certification from AHA required MEDITECH experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment Ability to float to other acute care areas as needed Comfortable working every other weekend and holidays as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and unit standards Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in MEDITECH Support unit flow by assisting with floating assignments as needed Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a patient-centered approach throughout the assignment Apply now for this Travel Med/Surg RN opportunity in Albany, Georgia and join a supportive acute care healthcare team today.
