Registered Nurse Setting: Medical-Surgical ICU / CCU Location: Tyler, Texas Start Date: 10/20/2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Shift Duration: 12 hours Shifts per Week: 3 Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620-$1,700 Charting System: Epic Patient Ratio: 1:2 Weekend Coverage: Required Orientation: 36 hours Schedule Notes: Floating may be required based on unit needs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred Travel nurse experience preferred Current ACLS and BLS certifications Experience with Epic charting required Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity critical care environment Strong clinical skills with adult and geriatric patient populations Comfort with bedside procedures and complex ICU patient management Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a Medical-Surgical ICU Monitor and manage patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio Administer medications, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and support ventilated patients Perform comprehensive assessments and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams Support patients requiring advanced monitoring and specialized equipment, including CRRT Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic Promote safe, high-quality care while following unit protocols and infection prevention standards Float as needed based on scheduling and unit demands Apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse travel job in Tyler, Texas, and join a supportive critical care team delivering excellent patient care.
