Details Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:3 Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 0700-1930, covering Sunday through Saturday Floating required Weekend coverage required 13-week assignment length Requirements Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)

Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CPI Blue Card preferred) Minimum 2 years of recent experience required At least 1 year of acute care experience required At least 1 year of experience in the specialty area within the past 2 years required for specialized units Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in work history Prior travel nursing experience required Two supervisor references required at time of application Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response Skills may include IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, arterial line management, and blood product administration Experience with respiratory care such as BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, and tracheostomy management may be required Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as pacemakers, cardiac catheterization, and TAVR may be utilized Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Previous UC employees must disclose prior employment and be approved before starting an assignment Candidates must have been gone a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred, with no RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-776880.
