Details Work in the Telemetry unit, including cardiac telemetry and ER holding patients Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 0700-1930, Sunday through Saturday Floating required Weekend coverage required Requirements Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)

Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS CPI Blue Card preferred Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute care telemetry setting required Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history Two supervisor references required Additional Information Provide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response as part of daily duties Perform IV therapy, peripheral line care, and blood product administration Manage respiratory support including oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and chest tubes Support post-cardiac, post-neuro, and post-surgical patient care Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates First-time travelers may be considered per position exceptions Previous UC Irvine employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract is preferred, with none permitted in the first two weeks of the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-776878.
