Travel Nursing Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840-$1,940 Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Location: Frederick, Maryland Start Date: November 18, 2026 End Date: February 17, 2027 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shift Time: Approximately 7:00 PM-7:30 AM Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Rotating weekends and holidays required Scheduling: Block scheduling is not available; floating within scope may be required Unit: Adult Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients Typical Ratios: Approximately 1:5 for telemetry patients, with a maximum of 1:6; PCU ratios are approximately 1:4 Travel RN Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a compact state, held in hand at the time of submission Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience in telemetry, progressive care, stepdown, or medical-surgical/telemetry nursing Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Experience with continuous telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation Experience caring for patients with cardiac, neurologic, pulmonary, renal, diabetic, and multisystem conditions Community hospital experience required; MEDITECH charting experience preferred Ability to provide proof of residency consistent with licensure First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply COVID-19 and influenza vaccination are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered Telemetry and PCU Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide safe, individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric telemetry and PCU patients Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes requiring intervention Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI, stroke, pulmonary disorders, diabetes, renal failure, multisystem disease, and post-surgical needs Manage patients receiving cardiac monitoring, non-titrated cardiac or vasoactive infusions, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula therapy Perform patient assessments, medication administration, IV care, central and peripheral line management, blood product administration, and wound or surgical drain care Support patients before and after procedures such as cardiac catheterization, hemodialysis, neurosurgery, and major orthopedic or surgical interventions Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rehabilitation, radiology, rapid response teams, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response or code team activities as needed Float within the nurse’s scope of practice to support patient care needs Apply now for this Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry/PCU opportunity in Frederick, Maryland, and bring your clinical expertise to a collaborative healthcare team.
