Travel Nursing Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Setting: Nursing Float Pool Location: Burlington, Massachusetts (Burlington, MA) Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600 Start Date: November 9, 2026 Assignment Duration: 26 weeks, ending May 9, 2027 Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week; 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; night-shift weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Recent Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience required Strong telemetry monitoring, patient assessment, clinical judgment, and time-management skills Ability to complete required day-one testing and unit orientation Level I trauma experience preferred; required for candidates without prior travel nursing experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred Flexibility to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry environment. Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changing patient conditions, and promptly communicate clinical concerns. Administer medications and treatments safely while following established care plans and clinical protocols. Collaborate with providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective patient care. Complete accurate patient assessments, documentation, care plans, and patient education in the Epic system. Adapt to floating assignments across designated inpatient and boarding units, generally in four-hour blocks. Support safe admissions, transfers, discharges, and transitions of care. Work rotating weekend assignments and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced hospital environment.
