Details Work in the MS/Tele unit of a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:5 Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend coverage required, subject to unit needs Floating required to other units or facilities as needed based on census Uses EPIC for documentation and Omnicell for medication dispensing Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a MS/Tele unit required Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy and blood product administration required Experience with Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, CVA, and Total Joint Replacement preferred Additional Information Provide nursing care for medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring, including dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac emergency response Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required Pre-assignment testing and compliance modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials First-time travelers will be considered based on experience Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to be eligible, with reduced eligibility between 90-99.9 miles Night shift travelers in this specialty must reside 50 miles from the contracted campus, with reduced eligibility between 50-99.9 miles and ineligibility under 50 miles American Traveler Job ID P-774356.
