Details Provide adult home health nursing care in patients' homes Primary diagnoses include CHF, hypertension, diabetes, total joint replacement, and oncology/cancer Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekends or on-call responsibilities Uses laptop, iPad, and iPhone for point-of-care documentation Matrix EMR experience highly preferred Requirements Active PA RN license or compact RN license required BLS certification required OASIS certification preferred Minimum 2 years of RN Skilled Medicare-certified home health experience required (private home care experience not accepted) Acute care experience preferred Home Health OASIS knowledge and experience required Above-average technical proficiency with digital documentation devices required 1 supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include admission assessments, start of care, recertification, resumption of care, routine visits, and transfers Skills needed include wound care, IV/central line management, ostomy care, catheter management, and medication administration Candidates must complete PA fingerprinting and ChildLine registration within 48 hours of signing a contract Candidates must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing a contract First-time travelers accepted if they meet the experience requirements Travel pairs will be considered Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Previous perm or per diem employees at Penn Highlands Healthcare must have a break in service of at least 18 months before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-774401.
