Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Assignment Overview Seeking an experienced RN for the MedSurg/Tele unit. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience and possess strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills. The role involves providing care in a Level 1 Trauma hospital with a focus on orthopedic, trauma, post-op surgeries, and acute or chronic disease patients.

Assignment Details Start Date: Not provided Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 7A-7P or 7P-7A Weekend Rotation: 5-6 shifts out of 12 (on a 6-week schedule) Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)

Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Manage patient care using strong med-surg nursing skills Perform clinical assessments and cardiac monitoring Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Execute discharge planning and patient education, focusing on renal and fluid management Administer and manage medications and treatments including insulin and heparin drips Start and manage IV lines and central lines Conduct wound care and post-op monitoring Qualifications Required: Current BLS certification Basic Cardiac Rhythm (BCR) skills and ability to pass EKG competency exam Strong clinical skills in med-surg nursing for a Level 1 Trauma hospital Experience with tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and telemetry interpretation Preferred: ACLS certification National certification in Medical-surgical or Nephrology nursing Benefits Not provided PEL/VIP Job ID 65730575.
