Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Preoperative Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Pre Op, Tracy, CA: Provides individualized nursing care in a preoperative setting, including patient assessment, care coordination, education, and transitions of care. The role supports collaborative communication among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals while coordinating interdisciplinary plans of care.

Job Details Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse licensure; three years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required before starting; ambulatory surgery or Phase II experience within the past two years; Electronic health record experience using EPIC.

Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Additional Information: Responsibilities include assessing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care; providing direct patient care and patient/family education; developing and managing individualized interdisciplinary care plans; and fostering effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
