Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary (List Format): - Provides professional nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process and current best practices. - Performs unit-specific responsibilities and adheres to the scope of service. - Conducts initial patient assessments and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and providers. - Implements, evaluates, and modifies care plans and nursing interventions based on ongoing patient needs and assessments. - Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care and patient records. - Ensures patient and staff safety by following safety protocols, reporting/correcting hazards, and adhering to institutional policies. - Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide coordinated, quality care. - Offers constructive feedback to peers and collaborates with colleagues for continuous professional development and knowledge sharing. - Identifies personal learning needs and actively seeks opportunities for professional growth. - Fulfills departmental competencies and adheres to standards specific to the Emergency Department (ED) nursing practice.
