Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team. This critical care unit specializes in the treatment of patients affected by various neurological conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages, seizures, and neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis and Guillain-Barré syndrome. The unit also provides care for patients recovering from postoperative neurosurgical procedures.

Responsibilities Caring for patients with complex neurological conditions and post-operative neurosurgery recovery. Performing bedside procedures, including tracheostomy care, PEG placement, central line and arterial line placement, and EVD placement. Monitoring and managing critical conditions, interpreting dysrhythmias, and administering IV insulin protocols.

Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG and managing blood product administration. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro ICU setting.

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Strong clinical skills in neurocritical care, including dysrhythmia management and IV access. Ability to float to various units as required. Shift Details Available shifts include both day and night options, typically structured as 3x12-hour shifts.

Day shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Night shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Weekend Requirements Weekend shifts are assigned on an every-other-weekend basis. For day shifts, weekends include Saturday and Sunday. For night shifts, weekends are defined as Friday and Saturday evenings.
