The position requires a focus on providing nursing care in a telemetry setting, specifically for patients boarded in the emergency department and floating to other medical-surgical units as necessary.

Details Location: Glenview, IL Contract Length: 8 weeks Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: As needed Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Assist in the management of patients being boarded in the emergency department. Float to other medical-surgical units when not engaged in the emergency department.

Qualifications Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a telemetry nursing role; preferred 4 years.

Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and passing EKG test required.

Skills: EKG experience is mandatory; Epic experience is preferred.
