Details Operating Room/Surgery department within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Full time, 13-week assignment Requires 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts On-call requirement of 1-2 call nights per week with charge duties as needed Floating to other departments required as needed Uses Epic EMR Requirements Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license BLS certification from AHA required ACLS certification required Minimum 1 year of experience required Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program Performs various Point of Care testing procedures Additional Information Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the population served Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes Participates in patient and family education and discharge planning Delegates and coordinates team assignments, following up for quality and completeness Serves as a resource to physicians, staff, and visitors Hospital-provided scrubs Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Returning CHRISTUS employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-775738.
