Details PCU unit in an acute care hospital setting Patient ratios of 1:5-6 Day shift, 3x12 hours (7:00-19:30) Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday for day shift) No on-call requirements Floating required within Telemetry service line Uses EPIC charting system Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required (must match permanent residence for compact) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Nursys verification required Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, respiratory care, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management required IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management experience required Additional Information Provide telemetry-level nursing care including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management Navy scrub color required Facial hair must allow for proper respirator fit testing or must be shaved Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO during the first week of assignment Standard travelers may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service Permanent employees of BJC or Saint Luke's facilities must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-772087.
