Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with float to similar units as needed based on census Perform and assist with bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage (I&D) Care for post-heart catheterization patients, monitoring for complications and changes in condition Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system Document all patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on unit need Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (night shift exception: must be 50 miles from the contracted campus — 50–99.9 miles considered at a reduced rate, under 50 miles ineligible) Pre-assignment testing and online modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with the Omnicell medication management system First-time travelers will be considered based on overall clinical experience Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient populations Why Join Us Expected schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to a variety of specialized procedures Pre-assignment orientation modules are billable (up to 16 hours), offering additional compensation before your contract begins Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 799322.
