Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical abilities, particularly in IV Starts, Triage, and Telemetry, to effectively care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Emergency Room.

Manage patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions. Ensure effective communication with the healthcare team and participate in daily shift huddles. Float between the Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health as needed.

Adhere to staffing requirements, including weekends and potential floating duties.

Position Details Ratios: 1:3-5 Patient Visits: 250 Visits/Day Beds: 101 Beds Minimum Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36-48 Hours per week Shift: 12 Hour Nights (18:45 - 07:15)

Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week time track, with the possibility of every other weekend.

Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.

Certifications: ACLS BCLS NIH PALS MOAB Skills: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry Orientation: 24 Hours of unit orientation required.

Testing: Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.

Unit Information Systems Used: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR Patient Population: Serves a regional referral and tertiary care center for diverse patient groups.
