Details Medical Telemetry unit caring for hemodynamically stable cardiac and medical-surgical patients RN to patient ratio of 5:1 Night shift, 3x12 hours (7p-7a), with every other weekend rotation Blocked scheduling may be discussed with the unit manager though not guaranteed in contract Uses Epic charting system Cares for patients requiring cardiac monitoring, telemetry observation, and post-procedure recovery Performs routine finger stick blood sugar checks and manages stable cardiac/vasoactive IV drips including Diltiazem and Metoprolol Requirements Active MO state or compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS IV start and telemetry skills required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Provides telemetry nursing care including monitoring of dysrhythmias, post-cardiac procedure recovery, and special care procedures such as blood transfusions and fluid boluses Black scrub color required 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-775691.
