Details Acute care setting on a 32-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit Unit handles Medical/Surgical overflow and non-acute stroke patients Patient ratios of 4:1 and 5:1 (50% each) Nurse aide support with average ratios of 8:1 to 10:1 Centralized telemetry monitoring; RNs required to validate tele strips RNs required to titrate drips including insulin and pain medications Respiratory equipment used includes BiPAP and high flow Uses EPIC EMR system 12-hour day shifts (7a-730p / 1900-0730a) with self-scheduling and shift fill options Every other weekend requirement Floating required Possible standby requirement, no on-call Requirements Active WA or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience required BLS and NIHSS certifications required EPIC EMR experience required Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Join a highly functioning, supportive, and family-oriented team One winter and one summer holiday coverage required Professional, clean dress code required with no jeans No RTO permitted during the traveler's first week on assignment First-time travelers may be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-776608.
