Details Medical Intermediate Care unit split between medical-telemetry and medical step-down care 42-bed unit with 21 medical beds and 21 intermediate care beds Patient population includes PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, sepsis, PE, UTI, and respiratory failure cases RNs work on both sides of the unit (med-tele and IMC) AM shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week No on-call responsibilities Floating to other units may be required at times Requirements Active MA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required 1-2 years of experience preferred Experience with trachs, vents, high-flow NC, cardiac drips, BiPaP, and telemetry required Additional Information Provide direct patient care across both medical-telemetry and intermediate care sides of the unit Work within a high-acuity environment managing complex medical conditions American Traveler Job ID P-747117.
