Details Work on a 43-bed Medical Unit within a Level II trauma center Adult patient population (18 years and older) Patient ratios of 1:5 and 1:6 Common diagnoses include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF Uses VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps Charts in Cerner EHR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend work expected at least 2 shifts per month per facility policy Floating required based on facility needs No call requirements for this position Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required BLS certification required (must be AHA) Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred ADN required Med/surg experience preferred Charge nurse experience preferred but not required Oncology skills helpful but not necessary Additional Information Deliver medical-surgical nursing care within a trauma center environment Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis Skills checklist must reflect at least a 3.2 overall rating for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-766789.
