Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location Not Provided Assignment Overview We are seeking an experienced RN with expertise in MedSurg/Telemetry for a unit with a census of 35 patients. This role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience, comfortable working in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting with an emphasis on patient care coordination and post-op monitoring.

Assignment Details Unit: 35 beds with a patient ratio of RN 1:4-6 Support: CNAs, Unit Secretary 7a-11p, Central Telemetry Unit Technology: EPIC EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis Med dispensing Floating to all adult MedSurg/Telemetry units in-house Orientation: 1 day facility orientation, 2 days departmental Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)

Responsibilities Provide care to patients with acute or chronic disease and post-op surgeries Administer medications and treatments within scope Perform clinical assessments and manage telemetry interpretation Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and plan discharges Participate in patient education and discharge planning Ensure compliance with all facilities policies and procedures Qualifications Required: BLS Certification BCR Certification - EKG competency exam required 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience Proficient in trach care, chest tube management, and cardiac monitoring Preferred: ACLS Certification Medical-Surgical certification PEL/VIP Job ID 65212635.
