The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice are maintained. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their condition. Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to plan and implement patient care strategies. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge processes. Adhere to standard safety protocols and infection control measures.

Shift Details Rotating shifts: Night (7pm-7:30am) and Day (7am-7:30pm) Shift schedules may vary based on operational needs. Must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Qualifications Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty. Valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license required. Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.

Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required.
