Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong background in IV start, triage, and telemetry. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the emergency room setting.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs. Obtain and document patient histories and perform triage assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members during daily shift huddles. Float between the Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health as needed. Shift Information The position offers a 12-hour mids shift from 11:00 to 23:00, with opportunities for 36-48 hours per week.

Floating between units is a requirement based on departmental needs. Additionally, candidates must be available for a minimum of 4 weekend days within a 6-week timeframe.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Candidates must possess the following certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB. Must successfully pass EKG testing prior to start. Patient Care and Environment Our facility serves as a regional referral and tertiary care center, delivering essential services to patients from all backgrounds. The nursing staff is expected to maintain high standards of professional practice and continuous improvement in patient care. Orientation and Attire A comprehensive 24-hour orientation will be provided to all new hires. Staff are required to wear navy and white scrubs while on duty. Additional Notes Block scheduling is not permitted. Upon booking, changes to RTO must be adhered to, as any call-offs or additional RTO could lead to cancellation and DNR.
