Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical-Surgical With Telemetry position supporting adult patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, including recipients of liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants. The role also provides care for patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders and serves as a medical-surgical and telemetry overflow unit.

Job Details Schedule: Day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications: Active California license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant experience At least 1 year of experience Additional Information: Care for adult patients with gastrointestinal, liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases Support abdominal organ transplant procedures and advanced abdominal surgeries and treatments, including Whipple procedures Manage medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Provide peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, feeding tube care, and rapid response or code team support Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services Benefits The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1346379.
