Shift Information Shift: Evenings Length: 12 hours, 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend Holidays: Occasionally required Unit Overview The position is located in the Emergency Room, which features: 33 beds, including 2 trauma bays 5 psychiatric/seclusion rooms Average patient volume: 125-140 patients per day Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3-4 patients per nurse Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic Qualifications Candidates must meet the following certification and experience requirements: 2 years of nursing experience Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment Additional Information Emergency Department staff includes both physicians and mid-level providers. Support teams available 24/7, including IV team and respiratory therapists. Security personnel are present around the clock. Floor-specific orientation is provided for one day.
