Details Emergency Department setting within a community hospital 1:3 patient ratio Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00) Every other weekend and every other holiday required Requirements Active RN license (PA or Compact) required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS Minimum 1 year of ER experience required Community hospital experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line care, medication administration, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, and care of ventilated patients Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and triage required One supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration Additional Information PA fingerprinting and ChildLine clearance must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract, and fingerprinting must occur in PA Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract Candidates with prior permanent or per diem employment at the facility must disclose this history and must have been separated for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-773273.
