Details Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts Every other weekend required Holiday coverage as needed May float to other like units within the NorthShore system as needed, with priority given to travelers No on-call requirements Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active IL RN license required (temporary license accepted if permanent application is in process) Active BLS and NIHSS certifications required Must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration, plus an on-site EKG test during orientation 2 years of Stroke/Neuro experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required New graduates will not be considered Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care to patients with cardiac monitoring needs Local candidates accepted at the same rate Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month gap before being considered as a traveler RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts Candidates will undergo a brief facility interview as part of the hiring process American Traveler Job ID P-775480.
