Details Emergency Department setting within a hospital Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30, totaling 48 hours per pay period 14-week assignment length Level I Trauma Center experience preferred Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital Care of ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation experience preferred Cardiac monitoring with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of ER experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Preferred certifications: CPI, ENPC Triage skills preferred No trauma level one experience necessary, though preferred At least 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias RTO requests must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests for more than 1 week off are not typically approved unless special circumstances apply Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position Previous permanent staff must have been separated from all UK-affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler First-time travelers will only be considered if they have Level 1 ER experience Candidates with any licensure hits will not be accepted American Traveler Job ID P-775619.
