Details Work in the Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations including left and right heart catheterizations Monitors pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM) 36 hours per week On-call required 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases Floating to similar units within scope expected based on facility needs with brief orientation provided Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required, pending license accepted if obtained prior to start Current BLS and ACLS certifications required RCIS certification preferred Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required Skilled in cardioversion, circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring Scrub procedure experience preferred Epic charting experience preferred Must be able to take call for STEMI or vascular emergencies Additional Information First-time travelers accepted for this unit Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler No travel pairs or groups accepted Maximum of 4 days RTO can be auto-approved at time of submission No RTO permitted during the first week of orientation American Traveler Job ID P-775551.
