Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment for 16-26 weeks. Rates are tiered based on mileage - measured by direct line not driving distance. Travel (101 miles), Radius (51-100 miles), Local (50 miles or less) Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.

Will be primarily M5/McClure 5: Neurosurgical & surgical unit. This skillset is a MUST. They will be aligned to the float pool - Floating required (travelers float first) – units within central pool Medical Surgical/ TELE units. Must be flexible with scheduling – minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. You may also float to support areas including hematology, oncology, orthopedics, med tele, general surgery, neurology (including neuro SDU), neurosurgery, ENT, and GYN, and will float to areas outside of the candidates POD to units of like skill and ability, ED Boarders and possible surge areas.

Requirements: • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; NIHSS required prior to start • A minimum of 2 years of experience • Must have large trauma level 1, teaching facility experience • Experience in unit specialty: • EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable Additional Information: • IVS to OFFER • Monday to Sunday • No block schedules for any reason • Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday • Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained • This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: • Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended.
