Job Title Travel RN – Telemetry / Tele Overflow (Nights) Location Hickory, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Telemetry unit with a 4:1 patient ratio, serving a generalized cardiac population ranging from young adults to elderly adults Monitor and manage patients with common cardiac diagnoses including chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre/post care for cardiac catheterizations (groin and radial approaches) and VATS Operate telemetry and monitoring equipment including Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo devices Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system May occasionally be required to float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units as needed Maintain compliance with all required certifications (BLS and ACLS) throughout the duration of the assignment Required Qualifications Active RN license with eligibility to work in North Carolina Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or cardiac setting BLS certification required ACLS certification required Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required Proficiency with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Cerner electronic health record system Background in cardiac catheterization pre/post care (groin and radial) Familiarity with VATS patient management Why Join Us Join a family-oriented telemetry unit within a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a collaborative and supportive work environment Assignment start dates are available in November and December 2026, offering flexibility in planning your next travel placement Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 799989.
