Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Room (ER) care to join our team. This position requires working 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements as needed.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics in the emergency department. Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize patient care. Monitor and manage patients on intravenous drips and ventilators.

Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a high-stress environment. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with pre-hospital and in-hospital personnel to ensure cohesive patient care.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience; additional experience will be prioritized. Previous travel nursing experience of at least 3 months is required.

Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is mandatory. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Must possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

A valid New Hampshire RN license or compact license must be in-hand at the time of submission. Ability to work collaboratively on a team and adapt quickly to changing situations. A personal vehicle is required for this assignment.

Additional Information The emergency department operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. This facility features a newly renovated emergency department equipped with state-of-the-art monitors and communication devices. Travelers must be prepared to work during critical holiday periods including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
