Details Work in a 3 South Stepdown unit with 1:4/5 patient ratios Night shift schedule of rotating 3x12 and 4x12 hours (19:00-7:30) Float required within scope of practice Every other weekend required Meditech charting system experience preferred Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience required Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Driver's license required, must match permanent address Additional Information Provide stepdown-level nursing care including cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and management of post-surgical and neurological patients Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted, though medical and religious exemptions considered case by case Must reside 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Up to 7 days of RTO considered if presented upfront; no changes accepted once submitted Must work either a major or minor shift on every holiday Returning travelers must take a minimum 6 month break after working one year before being eligible to return Two professional references required: one Charge or higher and one supervisor, both completed within the last year American Traveler Job ID P-774505.
