Details Acute Care unit providing care ranging from Med-Surg to ICU levels 30-bed unit staffed with 40 team members including RNs, LPNs, and NAs Patient ratios of 2-4:1 for ICU/stepdown and 5-6:1 for Med-Surg, supported by PCTs as needed Utilizes IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, lift equipment, and Pyxis Documents care using the Cerner EMR Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Floating to TCU required Weekend rotation of 3 Mondays and Fridays per 6-week schedule Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required, to be completed by end of orientation Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required ICU or stepdown experience preferred 1 year of Med-Surg experience preferred Experience performing IV starts, CVL, arterial lines, foley catheters, EKG monitoring, and wound care No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Participate in a Team-Based Care model with daily interdisciplinary rounds including MDs, nurses, case management, pharmacists, and PT/OT Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Navy blue scrubs required for nurses; galaxy/royal blue scrubs required for NAs Holiday coverage required per staffing matrix Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-742430.
