The primary responsibilities involve monitoring patients, administering medications, and assisting in various medical procedures within a dynamic medical-surgical and telemetry unit.

Position Information Unit: M4 - Pediatric & Adult Medsurg Trauma Level: Level 3 Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Required every other weekend Float Requirements: Yes, to all areas except M3 Required Certifications ACLS BLS NIH Stroke Scale Certification PALS (Preferred)

Qualifications Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years; 3 years of telemetry experience preferred Must Have Skills: Telemetry monitoring, post-operative catheter care, cardiac drips titration, management and interpretation of dysrhythmias Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Stroke, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac catheterizations/stents Unit Details Number of Beds: 27 Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 Equipment: Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitoring systems, defibrillators, EKG machines EHR: Omnicell, Epic Patient Population: General Medsurg, Pediatrics, Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis Dress Code Scrub Color: Navy Blue Additional Information This role presents an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing top-notch patient care.
