Number of Beds: 47 Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 Unit Staffing: Split unit with Unit Secretaries and Patient Care Technicians available Documentation System: Meditech Shift Details Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Floating Policy: Required as needed Qualifications Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience ACLS certification BLS certification Previous critical care experience preferred Preferred Skills: Experience with telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, and administration of various IV medications Familiarity with the Meditech documentation system is an advantage Licensure: Active Texas RN License is required; temporary licenses will not be accepted Dress Code Scrubs: Navy scrub top and pants; navy or white scrub jacket Grooming: Neat and clean appearance; no extreme styles or colors Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible.
