Details PCU/telemetry unit with mixed acuity patients, including occasional ICU-level patients Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1830-0700), 3x12 schedule (4x12 schedule considered for additional weekend coverage) Weekend rotation required Standby call required as needed Floating required as needed Patient ratio of 1:3-6 Uses Cerner charting system Requirements Active RN license (WI State or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only) required Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in med/surg and PCU required Inpatient RN travelers must have 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to assignment start Cerner EMR experience required Additional Information Provide nursing care for cardiac telemetry and mixed acuity PCU/stepdown patients Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted Every other holiday coverage required Telemetry exam includes adult and pediatric components requiring 80% or higher passing scores with strict criteria on lethal rhythm identification Up to two attempts allowed for telemetry exam; a third attempt requires completion of a cardiac interpretation review course First-time travelers considered only with sufficient hybrid unit experience Free onsite parking available American Traveler Job ID P-781036.
